The h3 Project is once again leading the Union Station team for Washington, DC’s Point-In-Time Count on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 — and we urgently need volunteers.
The PIT Count is a late-night, one-night snapshot of those experiencing homelessness. These numbers directly determine where funding and critical resources go across DC. Getting it right matters.
Volunteers work in teams to safely and compassionately canvas streets, parks, vehicles, and encampments, collecting vital data while always prioritizing dignity, privacy, and safety.
